Rođendanski tjedan
(darivanja) je završio i stiže još jedan super-čokoladni recept jer čokolade
nikad dosta, zar ne? ;)
Ako ćemo iskreno,
ovaj je recept bio i ispečen i pojeden i poslikan prije tarta. Zbog
gužve zbog posla, nisam stigla natipkati vam post, ali za dobre, slatke stvari nikad nije kasno!
Prvotni je plan bio
da dobijete dvije rođendanske torte s istim biskvitom i različitim punjenjem.
Jedna od Josipa, a jedna od mene. No biskvit nikako nije upio, pa ništa od
torti. L
Za vas koji ste se
tek uključili, Josip je moj brat, fotograf i najveći kritičar. Rekla bih da
imamo poseban odnos sa svojim usponima i padovima, no jedno nam je sigurno
zajedničko – ljubav prema hrani.
Na primjer, da sam
htjela imati make-up blog, vjerujte mi da mi Josip ne bi bio fotograf. :D
Josip voli ultra
slatko i s doooosta soli. Voli konkretan komad mesa, tjesteninu svih vrsta, puno
sira, a Nutellu voli više od sestre.
On možda nije
jednostavan, no većinom voli jednostavne recepte pune okusa, kao što su i ovi brownies
koje vam je napravio za prvi rođendan bloga.
Oreo Brownies
90 g (1 šalica*) tamne Callebaut "Select" čokolade
110 g maslaca
190 g (1 šalica) muscovado
šećera
100 g (½ šalice) bijelog šećera
3 jaja
60 g (½ šalice) kakaa
dobar prstohvat soli
80 g (½ šalice + žlica) brašna
1 pakovanje Oreo**
keksa
Pećnicu zagrijte na 175°C.
U posudu ulijte vodu
i stavite na srednju vatru. Na nju stavite staklenu ili metalnu posudu, pazeći
da voda ne dodiruje dno posude.
U staklenu posudu
stavite maslac, tamnu i mliječnu čokoladu narezanu na kockice. Miješajte dok se
skroz ne otopi i ne poveže. Ostavite sa strane da se malo ohladi.
Potom u malo ohlađenu
smjesu dodajte muscovado i bijeli šećer te promiješajte. Provjerite temperaturu
smjese. Ne bi smjela biti vruća jer će se jaja koja ćemo dodati zgrušati.
Dodajte jedno po
jedno jaje i miješajte. Prosijte kakao i dodajte tome dobar prstohvat soli.
Za kraj dodajte još
samo prosijano brašno te miješajte dok se sve ne poveže.
Josip je pola
količine Oreo keksa narezao na četvrtine i stavio u smjesu, a ostatak Oreo
keksa prepolovio je i rasporedio po površini smjese.
Papir za pečenje
zgužvajte i namočite ispod slavine i ocijedite. Stavite u pleh veličine 18*27
cm te izlijte smjesu.
Pecite 30-40 minuta.
Napravite test čačkalicom koja ne bi trebala izaći skroz čista, kako bi browniesi
bili sočniji.
Ostavite malo da se
ohladi ako imate strpljenja ili, kao mi, izrežite i odmah se bacite na njih. :D
Imajte na umu da se
browniesi često mrve i nisu baš najljepši desert koji ste pravili, no kada
zagrizete prvi komad, sve ćete im oprostiti. Vjerujte nam. ;)
*Pod šalica se smatra američka mjera za 'cup'.
**Koristili smo
jeftiniju verziju Oreo keksa iz Kauflanda.

The birthday (giveaway)
is closed and here comes another super-chocolate recipe because you can
never have enough chocolate, right? ;)
If we're going to be
honest, this recipe was baked, photographes and eaten before the tart. Because of the hubub around work, I didn't have time to type the post, but it's never too late for a good and sweet desert.
The original plan was
to get two birthday cakes with the same sponge and different fillings. One from
me, and one from Josip. But the sponge didn't work out, so nothing from the
cakes. :(
For those of you who
just tuned in, Josip is my brother, the photographer, and the biggest critic. I
would say we have a special relationship with our ups and downs, but one thing
we surely have in common – our love towards food.
For instance, if I
wanted to have a make-up blog, I can assure Josip wouldn't be the photographer.
:D
Josip likes ultra
sweet things with a lot of salt. He loves a decent piece of meat, pasta of all
kinds with lots of cheese, and he likes Nutella more than he likes his sister.
HE may not be simple,
but usually he likes simple recipes full of flavor, like these brownies he made
for you for the blog's first birthday.
Oreo Brownies
½ cup of dark
Callebaut 'Select' chocolate
110 g of butter
1 cup of muscovado
sugar
½ cup of white sugar
3 eggs
½ cup of cocoa
a good pinch of salt
½ cup + one
tablespoon of flour
1 pack of Oreo*
cookies
Preheat the oven to
175°C.
Pour some water in a
pan and put it on medium heat. Place a glass or metal bowl over it, making sure
the water doesn't touch the bottom of the bowl.
Put the butter and chips of dark and milk chocolate in the bowl. Mix it until it completely dissolves
and binds. Leave it aside to cool for a bit.
In the slightly
cooled mixture add the muscovado and white sugar, and mix. Check the temperature
of the mixture. It shouldn't be too hot because the eggs we're going to add are
going to cook.
Add one egg at a time
and mix. Sift in the cocoa and add to it a good pinch of salt.
In the end, add the
sifted flour and mix until it all combines.
Josip cut the half of
the Oreos in quarters and put them in the mixture, and he cut in halves the
rest of the Oreos and spread them over the surface of the mix.
Wrinkle the baking
paper, put it under a cool stream of water and rinse. Put it in a baking tray
the size of 18*27 cm and pour in the mix.
Bake for 30 to 40
minutes. Check the dough with a toothpick – it shouldn't come out completely
clean in order to make the brownies juicier.
Leave them to cool
for a bit if you're patient enough or, like us, cut them straight away and dig
in. :D
Keep in mind that the
brownies crumble and they won't be the prettiest desert you've made, but you'll
forgive them everything after that first bite. Trust us. ;)
*We used the cheaper
version of Oreos from Kaufland.
